Tomorrow, December 21st, at 8 p.m., Vilnius district municipality, elderships and cultural departments are joining the solidarity iniciative "Hour for Ukraine".

During an hour of initiative, in the Municipality and the elderships of Vilnius district, for one our from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., the festive lights in the public spaces of the settlements will be turned off.

The 21st of December is the darkest day of the year, but Ukraine plunged into darkness in mid-October when Russia began it‘s shelling of civilian energy infrastructure.

We invite residents of Vilnius district to join the initiative and stand in solidarity with Ukraine ans its people. At 8 p.m., for the duration o fone hour, let‘s turn off christmas lights and electricity at home, supporting Ukraine with this symbolic gesture.
